The Roche Innovation Center, Basel faced several critical challenges in designing a cutting-edge laboratory environment to support its research in oncology, neuroscience, and infectious diseases. These challenges included:

  • Ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of gas control systems to minimize operational risks.
  • Avoiding unplanned downtime, which could lead to underutilized labs and project delays.

With a focus on creating a sustainable environment that fosters collaboration among more than 1,800 scientists, engineers, and clinicians, the lab required gas control equipment that would be both reliable and adaptable to meet the unique demands of critical research projects.
